Opening Ceremonies Commence at 5:00pm

The Deadline for Registration is Saturday, May 1, 2010

As teachers and students begin the year 2010, the Barnesville Band Boosters have been planning our annual exhibition for the next school year.

We are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Barnesville Cavalcade of Bands to be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Shamrock Stadium in Barnesville, Ohio. Opening ceremonies will commence at 5:00 PM. This letter is your official invitation to participate in the event. The Barnesville Cavalcade of Bands is an open band invitational designed to showcase bands of all sizes. Our event is non-competitive making this a great opportunity for your students to perform in front of a very appreciative audience. It is also an opportunity for your students to see bands they may not get the chance to see. It does not matter if you are a competition band or a show band; we want you there! We are also expecting to host a College Marching Band this year as well. All bands will receive a participation award and critiques from a panel of judges.

Please complete the registration form online or by mail and return it by Saturday, May 1, 2010 to Lottie Deal, 219 North Broadway St., Barnesville, OH 43713. The entry fee for our event is $25.00; we ask that you include this with your registration form. Please make all checks payable to: Barnesville Band Boosters.

Class C: 1-35

Class B: 36-54

Class A: 55-70

Class AA: 71+

Judging:

The Barnesville Cavalcade of Bands is a non-competitive event. We will have a panel of judges to critique your band performance.

Facilities:

We are adding another warm-up area this year and splitting the other warm up area into two areas. All together there will be three areas, two inside the stadium and one outside the stadium.

Entry Fee:

An entry fee of $25.00 will be asked to provide a page in the program for your band and judges. The entry fee should be submitted with your registration sheet if you register by mail. If you register online, we must receive your entry fee five days after receiving your registration information.
